Sleeeeeeeeeep.

So, I haven't been doing a very good job on the whole sleep thing. I average about 5.5 hours a night. Supposedly I'm supposed to get 8, but whatever. Last night I was up fairly late studying for the AP Euro test, which I have reason to believe I failed, but, again, whatever. I'm not sure that I'm going to stick with that class. The actual work isn't that bad, but when the test comes I have like 6 hours worth of stuff to do, then I also need to study the work that I've just done. We have to teach ourselves. He never gives us notes or anything. It's all about us reading and taking quizzes that he doesn't even give us back to study because he's afraid we'll copy them and sell them to other students. I wouldn't have even thought about it if he hadn't mentioned it. I think the majority of the class is the same way, too. Besides, he always tells us that he changes the quizzes anyway, so I don't really see the point. We had a Government test today, as well. It was our first test all year. I'm pretty sure more than 50% did extrememly poorly. He told us if we brought our books he'd give us 8 extra points, but I had left mine in my locker. Jessica Flack had, too so we just decided to run off and get them really quickly, trying our best to prevent from calling attention to ourselves in leaving the room and coming back in. 8 extra points for Julie! Even if he noticed us leaving the room, I don't think he would have cared because we're girls, and he's a sicko. O M G - Thursday in Government we watched a movie so I went to the back of the room to sit by Talley. Of course, Mr. Weiss came and sat next to her and the whole time he was just watching us - not the movie. We would make a comment about a scene and he'd laugh and then reply to us. It was insanely creepy, especially when I'd glance over and see him looking at us. Needless to say I'm not sitting in the back with Talley anymore.

Gimme

Tourny time. The tournament began today. I had to wake up at 5:45. Hoorah for me. So, lucky for me, my Mom allows Ross to come, meaning I'll at least be able to enjoy it when I'm not playing. Since Rachel didn't wake up on time, 30 minutes late actually, then we were unable to stop and get donuts before we went to the game to go with tradition. I was pretty upset. I was waiting and anticipating getting those donuts, but no. Rachel just HAS to sleep a little longer. To make matters worse I killed a little frog on the way home from picking Ross up. I felt so horrible. Yeah, my day didn't start out as well as I would have liked, but we did win the first game 4-0. The team was a Div. 1 team. We're Div. 2, meaning they're supposed to be better than us. They're not. They're one of those loser teams that signs up for Div. 2 tournaments so they can win and make themselves feel better. I hate those people. We then proceeded to drive around for about an hour looking for where Scott's game was, but when we finally found it the game had ended. Now it was almost lunch time so we met my Grandpa for some lunch at and Italian restaurant named "Lasagna House III". Ross and I both got Fettuccini Alfredo, except that his was a little more than three times the size of mine because the waiter told me I probably could only handle a small portion. Which was completely untrue. I couldn't even finish that. I had about half of it, whereas Ross ate about 9/10 of his. It was insane as to how much such a skinny person like Ross could eat. So by now it's about time to go and Ross and I are more stuffed than a teddy bear and can hardly walk to the car. We get in the car and start to drive to the soccer field and I start to feel very sick to my stomach. Time goes by, not feeling any better, don't play the second game, which is perfectly alright. I've pretty much been replaced by Meagan Foreman, so they have no use for me anymore. They won 3-0, which is a little sad considering the team we were playing only had 10 players. Now that it's time for us to go home Rachel begs and pleads to Mom to let us go to Scott's game. Rachel asks me what I want to do and I say that I want to go to Scott's game. It was a lie, but I let Rachel get what she wanted. They lost 3-0. Too bad for them. Well, must wake up early tomorrow - there's another game in the morning. Good night!

At Ease

Finally - a new post. I know you're all so excited about it. I've just been so annoyed with blogger that I've resisted the urge to blog for the past week. I absolutely loved this week. It was so easy... aside from the AP Euro test. In Government, our homework consisted of watching television. That was super. Well, there was this one project, but that took me about twenty minutes max. All we did in English was write an essay this week. This week was a test week for Calculus and with the Chicken Club rally we were able to have our test post-poned until Tuesday. In Environmental Science AP we just watched a movie, so that was nice. AP Euro was still being AP Euro, but that doesn't count because it will always be satanic. All in all it was a pretty easy week, and now I get an extra day off. Hooray for me!... and the rest of the school, but mostly me because I say so. This afternoon I'm going to go to the volleyball game to cheer on Kelsi Foreman, upon the request of Meagan, and fulfill one of my life-long dreams of being one of those annoying people with painted faces at random sports events. Then I'll fulfill a non-life-long dream of selling towels at the football game this afternoon. I guess I'll have to consider washing the paint off before then. I don't know if I want to stay for the game. Aside from the fact that I have little to no school spirit, it's sprinkling, which is 100 bajillion times worse than pouring rain. At least in pouring rain you can run around and hardly see people and get soaking wet, but when it's sprinkling, you only get damp and your hair frizzes up. It's lame. I'd much prefer the pouring. Soccer Tournament this weekend. I think I may actually be able to get a trophy in this one. In the previous two we've played this year there were no trophies because they were "friendly" tournaments - meaning the people that hosted it were too cheap to get us trophies. We lost those miserably... mostly because no one was willing to play their hardest for no reward... myself included. Talley and I also have a mission to perform this weekend. I hope that it shall prove amusing. Fare thee well, kind citizens.
