Julie the Brave

Yes, I know. This is my third consecutive post, but I have to make up for being gone this weekend. I, Julie Marie Rinn, killed a roach all by myself today. Well, I was assited by my good friend, a bottle of Raid, but I did it nonetheless. I'm so terrified of roaches, and that's why I'm so proud of myself for doing it. Yes, I know I shouldn't be afraid. I know there really isn't anything they can do to me, but I just can't get over it quite yet, but I put my arm within 18 inches of it. That's brave, right? I didn't pick it up, though, and I don't plan on it. It went behind a desk to die, anyway, so I would have had to move the desk to get it. Aside from that, they're just too icky for me to pick up. But I killed it. I killed it good. I also killed it dead. Hoorah for me!

The counter on my blog is almost at 5000. I'll buy ice cream for whoever is on the blog at the 5000 mark. No cheating. Of course, if it's me, then you all lose. Bwahahaha!

Update: I killed another roach like 30 seconds ago. Ugh. It was in the laundry room and was probably watching me the entire time I was transferring my clothes into the dryer... creepy little thing.

wow! I'm really really proud of you Julie, I honestly really am. I know how incredibly terrified you are of them, and that's really quite an extraordinary accomplishment for you. I think I will buy you a preseant to commemorate this event. Congratulations.

*Congradulations!* I'm also terrified of roaches, I've been doing better at killing them, but just in the past 5 minutes, one on top of the speaker made the same sound as a drenched sneaker on a hot summer's day with a pop at the end when I pressed (no raid) a magazine on top of him AND the monster is still alive. I nearly threw up. Anybody is welcome to come over and get it, otherwise, it's staying there.

Julie, I'm impressed. Was no one else home or something?

There's still one somewhere in the living room. Austin screamed that there was a roach, so I got up and found a shoe. He "tried" to tell me where it was while watching TV. It was gone before I could ever see it. I looked around. Apparently it was somewhere around the fireplace and the bookcase. It PROBABLY won't crawl in ours ears/mouths while we sleep...
