Because I can

Alright, so we're going to do another one since I don't feel like doing my Reagan project and I don't have my paper. Last night was that on-site rehearsal for Charley's Aunt. It was a bit of a bust since half the cast and crew had to leave for a choir concert. At least we got all the striking done. After everyone left the remainder of the cast and crew sat around trying to think of something that we could do. All we could think of was running a 20 second scene between Brittany and Ben, but since it's rather short, we felt it was pointless and packed everything up. Mr. White treated us to this place called "Busy Bee". It was pretty good. They had a different style of cooking things. The cheese sticks looked a little peculiar, but they tasted the same. I wish I had a digital camera or at least a scanner so that I could put pictures of things up. I mean, I have to camera on my phone, but it's poor quality and I don't even have a cable to hook it up to the computer, anyway. What a shame. Alas, my blog is bland. You know, I used to think that "bland" and "vague" meant what each other means? Like I thought that "bland" meant "vague" and "vague" meant "bland". I always knew they didn't sound right when I used them that way. That's just a little bit of Julie trivia so you can pass the test. If you don't pass, you're getting "fixed". Unless, of course, they don't let me. Curse those Puritans... they're watching me...

All About Ashley

Alliteration. She's so clever. Anyway, this post goes out to Ashley. First of all, I have to mention her ugly face several times: Ashley's face is soooooo ugly. Have you seen Ashley's face? It's one of the ugliest things I've ever laid my eyes on. When I see Ashley's face I think, "Wow, she's really ugly." *looks at school ID with Talley's picture on it* Yikes, that's just about the ugliest thing I've ever seen, except that I've seen Ashley's face and you just can't get any uglier than that. For the record, I'm just messing with Talley. I heart her. I don't, however, heart Ashley, because her face is just so ugly. There. Now that that's over with I have a note addressed to Ashley that I think I'll type up on the blog:

To: Ashley
From: A Secret Admirer (Definitely NOT Julie)

L is for the way you look at me.
O is for the only one I see.
V is very very extraordinary.
E is even more than anyone that you adore,
And LOVE is all that I can give to you.
LOVE is more than just a game for two.
If our LOVE can make it, take my heart and please don't break it.
LOVE was made for me and you.
LOVE was made for me and you.

LOVE, Your Secret Admirer That is Absolutely Not Julie

The world is mine!

Since I still have plenty of time, I think I’ll post again for the sake of posting. I have an Astronomy test next period. I guess I could always study for that, but studying is so overrated. I’d rather not. Here I am in Peer Tutor, with a whole 25 minutes left. Yesterday I was having a conversation with Kat and she was telling me about a recent Ctrl + Alt + Del comic she read about EA games buying the rights to hell, and I thought… I wonder if I could copyright the Earth. I mean… is it possible? According to Ashley all I have to do to copyright something is mail it to myself. Therefore… I have a plan. I will make a giant address sticker and put it in my street. Then, I could collect enough stamps to account for the weight of the Earth. Unfortunately, the Earth has no weight, only mass. Thus, I’ll make the word “weight” equal to the word “mass” and measure accordingly. So, if the Earth’s mass is 5.98 x 10^24 kg, how many stamps would I need? Or, since I’ll be mailing it to the same address, would I really need any stamps? Either way, the world is mine!! Bwahahahahaha! Bow my minions!

However, I'll only own the Earth for a short amout of time since I expect to be hit by a bus sometime before graduation. It's just inevitable. Don't cry for me Argentina, you're the ones in poverty. Wow, that could be taken in a degrading way. I apologize to any Argentinians that read this post. Jokes aside, who wants me to write them into my will? I'm definitely going to need to give the Earth to someone. Copyrights only last for 70 years, and I'm pretty sure the Earth will be around longer than that. It'll need someone to call master. Go ahead and send your best "I'd make a good master of the Earth" ploy to me at jules_marie1986@hotmail.com. The winner shall be written into my will. May the force be with you.

The Ross Blog

Disclaimer: This blog is all about Ross. If you feel the need to vomit, do it on the screen so you can stop yourself from reading the rest.

So here’s the Ross blog, like I promised. Last week I hung out with Ross quite a bit. I mean, we have rehearsal together everyday, then we had two performances for Charley’s Aunt. Then there was the cast party at Ben’s house, he came to Austin’s T-ball game, then we went out to lunch and I hung out with him for the rest of the Saturday. I’m really glad that I auditioned for Charley’s Aunt. I really like performing. I especially like the part about not even being shaky during performances. It’s weird. I know that I have nothing to be nervous about, but my body makes me feel nervous anyway, but during our performances, I was perfectly fine. Odd. I enjoy being able to spend time with Ross and getting to know his friends. He came to the Junior Meeting on Thursday, too. That was more Ross time, even though I didn’t actually spend the time with him. At least I had someone to cheer for me when I finished my super-fast presentation. I had a lot of fun at the cast party. Thanks for that Ben… I’m not sure that Ben reads my blog, let alone knows I have one, but thanks anyway. Ross and I played video games most of the time. Saturday he accompanied my family and me at the T-ball game. Austin is so cute when he’s not within 10 feet of me. Ross brought be lost of Tootsie Rolls because he knows that I heart them. That was so sweet. It’s kind of strange when he gives me to Tootsie Rolls, though, because it looks like he’s bribing me to stand with him. I mean, he gives me one right away, then when I finish he gives me another, then another… but I digress. Then he invited me to go out to lunch with his family since his grandparents were in town. I did feel really bad about it because his parents had to pay, but my favorite meal on the menu is the second cheapest so I ordered that and felt a little better. Then we went to Ben’s house and watched Fight Club. I have to say, even though the ending was ruined for me many moons ago, I still liked it a whole lot… minus the cussing and nudity. When we finally left Ben’s house it was lightning like a mother (who knew?) and I fear lightning… poor me. When we got to my house we listened to the end of Mr. Brightside by The Killers before I went in and as it was playing it started to rain like a mother (mothers sure are busy). Ross’s dad called and said for him to stay put so we went inside to wait for the rain to subside and watched “Hook” because I love that movie. It was nice to spend extra time with Ross that I wouldn’t have gotten to have if it hadn’t rained. Ross finally left around 1:20, but we didn’t get to finish el movio. In conclusion, I spent a lot of time with Ross and I had fun.

Does this mean I'm not stupid?

So... I've been officially accepted to A&M. Yay for me. The only place I haven't gotten anything back from is UT, and it doesn't really matter much because I don't want to go there anyway. I knew there was something I forgot last post. Don't worry, Ross. I didn't forget the Ross post. I'm just making a quick one about A&M. Anyway, I've been accepted everywhere I've applied, even though I'm not in the top 10%. I never even cared about the top 10%. I just figured that as long as I pushed myself enough to get into the college I want to go to, which has been A&M since 8th grade, then things with be dandy. Therefore, procrastination and slackeratory skills have worked for me just fine. Yesssssss. A&M is actually the only place that I applied to that would let me major in Meteorology as opposed to Geophysics. Yay for A&M. Today has been an awesome day thus far. I mean, first period I did my English project which I only spent like 10 minutes working on this morning and I bought the stuff last night and that took like 30 minutes, but that includes driving time. Mrs. Heckendorn also specifically told me that she "really liked" my project and what I did with it. Two thumbs up for me. Then second period I typed up my Government project and presented it and Mr. Weiss told me I did a really good job and that I have a "great speaking voice". Two more thumbs up for me. That's 4 thumbs! I think I deserve a coke from Sonic during Happy Hour. Off we go.

Wait a minute... I didn't update March 19...

According to Blogger my last update was March 19... that's definitely not true because I haven't even been to Blogger since last Friday. Blogger lies to me. Anyway, we performed our only home performances for Charley's Aunt Thursday and Friday. It was awesome. I think we did really well. Good job everyone! Last week was torture. The English project was due and I didn't have a minute of free time that I didn't spend working on it. I finished, though. About 3 minutes before the deadline; just in time to speed walk from the main campus library to room 209A by 3:45. We also had the Junior meeting last week for NHS and that was a success and failure. There were problems with the slide-show, so Kim's labor hours on that thing went to waste, plus we forgot to make a sample resume. I'm not sure how we skipped over that, but we did. You know, one of those fake resumes people give you where you look at it and say to yourself, "There's no way this person did everything on here." We were supposed to make one for the Juniors, but somehow we skipped over that.

On the cell phone thing, make sure to ask me for my number. I'm giving it out on a request only basis. There's no way I'm even thinking about putting it on the blog. Wait, it's too late for that because I just thought about it as I typed that sentence. Anyway, ask me before I forget what it is. I absolutely love my cell phone. I get free weekened minutes starting at 9pm Fridays and ending 6am Monday mornings, plus free nights starting at 9pm and ending at 6am the following morning. Make sure to call me on my cell phone during those times. Oh, I also have speaker phone and I don't always tell people when they'er on it so be careful what you say to me over my cell phone.

Yesterday was Austin's first T-ball game. It was so cute. He has a lot of his little friends on his team. Mr. Ryan-the-World-History-teacher's daughter, Audrey, is the only girl on his team. I have a feeling, given Austin's record, that he'll enjoy spending time with the chubby little Ryan. Austin loves girls. I still can't decide if he's going to be straight or not. Today is Palm Sunday. That means Lent is almost over and I can go back to eating beef burritos on Fridays. I like burritos. I think I'll go make myself something to eat. <...return with chilidog> I'll keep it off the keyboard. I wish we had burritos, though. That sounds good, don't you think? Anyway, I have to finish the second part of the English project, plus do some stuff with Ashley on our government project. We're doing Janet Reno v. ACLU. Yesssss... internet porn it is. <-- no link for that one, sickos. Well, work beckons... and so do chocolate chip cookies. Farewell, my sweets.

This looks like a job for... Julie to post

Bwahahahaha! Me get cell phone! Yay! Good Bob! More later. Must go.

Mi Blog-o Posto

For the first time in... who knows how long? Anyone? Anyone? I've certainly lost track and care not to trouble myself with such a menial task. I'm currently at el place-o mi mommo workso. Surprisingly she actually does stuff. Granted, it's not much, but it's stuff. Mostly she faxes and plays Solitaire... minus the Solitaire part. She pays bills, sends invoices, files stuff, tells me to click on things when there are 80 possible things to click on... but mostly she focuses on staying in the chair as long as possible. She's learning me how to do her "work" when she has better things to do like... clean toilets or something. She just informed me that we need to clean the house again today. For those of you that aren't quite up to date this will be the third weekend in a row I've spent cleaning the house for minimum wage... oh wait... I don't get paid. I get "satisfaction in a job well done". I spit on satisfaction. Ptooey. I really only have about an hour left here. I'm supposed to stay until 12:30. She mentioned something about getting paid, but I don't believe her. She just looked at my sentence and was in shock. I take that to mean no money for Julie. Also, for the record, my mother is uber-savvy when it comes to computer terms using phrases like "smallen it" or "diminish it". Clever girl. (If you can tell me which movie that line comes from I'll pay you 38 cents. Don't be afraid to guess.) Travis is coming home today, which is why we have to clean the house again. Mom's going to drive up there to get him. She acted as though I was going to go with her, but since it's Tipti's birthday I'll be at a !fiesta! and unable to accompany her on her arduous journey. What a shame! I went out of town to San Marcos this week, but only Tuesday to Thursday. My plan to spend almost the entire Spring Break in my swim suit was dashed by the weather. Curse you El Nino! Actually, I doubt it has anything to do with El Nino, but I'm trying to keep with the theme. Although the plan was to get in some water time, it was too cold so we spent our time shopping. I got some good stuff. I'm happy with it. Last night I went with Ross, Phillip, and Ben to go "cow-tipping" (pun), but that didn't work out so well. We were going to go see if the fish was still in the alligator's mouth (long story... sort of), but I needed to get home so Ross took me. I feel so fat. I'm pretty sure that the whole time I was in San Marcos I didn't go more than an hour between feeling full. All I did that whole trip was eat, drink, and shop. I must have gained 26 lbs. At any rate, the muscle in my legs from soccer season has yet to go away. I estimate it'll take another year for it to fully disappear, but the sooner the better. Speaking of soccer, I need to organize our end of the year party that we didn't have last year or this year as we were promised. I need to find some time to do that. I think I'll put it on my list of things to do. 30 minutes until my freedom.
