All by myself. Don't wanna be all by myself...
Everyone went off to Don's room and I didn't go so now I'm just sitting here in my room on the computer... with nothing to do... I guess I could try homework or something productive, but I'll probably play video games instead. Rita's gone. Here in College Station everyone was perfectly safe. In fact, it barely sprinkled here. The only effect from Rita was increased wind speed, but even then it was only about 20-30mph.
Story Time: (I don't know if I told this story like a month ago when it happened, but I think now's as good a time as any.)
So, we have a lot of cats. Mostly because one of our cats had kittens about 5 months ago, and we kept three of them, giving us a grand total of 5 cats. Of course, the parentals didn't exactly want more, so about a month ago my mom took Calculator (the mother cat) to the vet to get her spade so she wouldn't have any more kittens. As is procedure, the vet gave Callie a check-up before performing the operation. As the felt around, she discovered some sort of lump inside Callie and decided it might be a good idea to take an x-ray just to make sure that it wasn't something to worry about. So, she took the x-ray and brought it back to my mom to deliver the news.
"Ma'am, I think that your cat may be pregnant."
"Oh, great! My husband will love that," my mom replied.
"Well, I don't know for sure, and I can still perform the procedure if you'd like."
"But if she's pregnant wouldn't it kill the kittens if you did perform the surgery?"
"Yes... would it matter?"
"YES! I'm not killing little kittens!"
So Mom took Callie home, and yesterday she gave birth to 5 healthy kittens. THE END.
Also, I can't decide if I'm gaining weight, or losing weight. I mean, my pants are all way too big, which is especially bad since I left my one and only belt at home last weekend, but my stomach looks like it's getting bigger. I can't really tell what's changing, and I don't think a person can just "feel lighter". Maybe my pants are all just stretching out... a lot... At any rate, I really really really want to start running again. One of you should join me. Yes, join me, and together we could rule the world! and by that I mean we could "run" the world, and by that I mean run around campus. Whatev.

Congradulations Calculator! She just loves her multiples of five. Guess it goes with the whole 10 number base system. What are their names this time? Did you give away the rest of the kittens from the first litter?
We still have John Paul, Saavik, and Angel. We only intended to keep J.P. and Saavik, but Angel never got a home. I don't want to name the kittens this time because we can't keep any, but I'm sure we'll name them anyway. Austin already named the whitish one 'Lugia' after the Pokemon. That child is insane. He's memorized the Pokemon alphabet and taught me how to write my name in it.
By the way, Julie, I don't know if you did it intentionally or not, but I found it hilarious. 'Spade' is not the past tense of 'spay'... It's rather spelled 'spayed'. Good going. So Mom took Callie to the vet to get her *spade* so that she wouldn't have any more kittens... WOW. I guess that's ONE way to spay a cat.
I got a spade from world war 2...
:D
